What they say about themselves:
Nejc is one of the founders of the new swing age era in Slovenia. He uses experience from modern movement theatre, music and classical
theatre to bring a fresh and fun approach to teaching and developing swing dance, making jazz moves and musicality a speciality. Since 2010, he has been teaching different swing dances - Lindy hop, Balboa, Charleston, Blues - at the Dansa Dance School in Ljubljana and has extensive experience of teaching abroad in international workshops.
Anna started dancing in her teens with competitions in Ballroom and Latin-American dances before discovering the Paris Swing scene in 2008. Anna's main goal in class is to inspire followers to take an active role in the dance, and she likes to lead as much as follow.
Known as DJ ‘Professor Shorthair’, she also plays washboard with her band ‘The Wrecking Balls’.
She organises two week-long dance events each year: Swing and Balboa Castle Camp in her native Germany.
What we say about them:
What impresses us is the clarity of their teaching and the vitality they bring to traditional Balboa. They're warm and funny, and inspire in class, as well as being the life and soul of the party. We think you'll love them!
